As Principal of ENEA's Paris office since 2016, Guillaume manages our activities in the Power sector. This involves supervising projects/teams and coordinating ENEA's business development efforts in this sector. Guillaume also participates in the operational management of ENEA Paris (40 people).
Since he joined the company in 2011, Guillaume managed 80+ consulting assignments involving strategic positioning, R&D roadmap definition, innovation qualification and techno-economic due diligences, support to start-up development, project feasibility studies, and technical and organisational support for setting up demonstration projects.
Guillaume is a technical advisor on electrical systems (storage, smartgrids, microgrids, etc.) on bioenergy as well as industrial CO2 management (carbon capture, transport, utilization). His expertise is recognised by the French National Research Agency (ANR) that calls on him for project assessments.
His projects have led him to work for very different types of organisations (multinational utilities, start-ups, T&DSOs, public authorities, investors) in France as well as in the Middle East, Africa, Canada and Australia.
Prior to joining ENEA, Guillaume worked for 2 years in the carbon capture, transport and storage sector (CCS), initially at Alstom as a project engineer and then at the Center for Energy and Process Engineering at the Ecole des Mines de Paris as a scientific coordinator for the CCS Industrial Chair (Total, EDF, GDF-Suez, Air Liquide, Lafarge, etc.).
Guillaume graduated from Agro ParisTech with an engineering degree in agronomy and environment, and then graduated from Mines de Paris in engineering and environmental management. He speaks fluent English and Spanish. He loves travel, board games and photography.
