[PHILOSOPHY]
Mixing Consulting and Volunteering for the access to a sustainable Energy
ENEA Consulting has been created around a hybrid business model, responsible and committed. By placing its skills volunteering at the heart of its business strategy, ENEA Consulting combines economic performance and social investment by creating an innovative business model, successful and meaningful.
This strategy and this constant desire to maximise its social impact enable ENEA Consulting to finance pro bono consulting assignments based on 20% of the working time of each employee, so as to assist civil society organisations willing to improve energy access (which represents around 50% of profits reinvested since its inception date).
Through this unique business model, ENEA Consulting interacts with both public and private stakeholders, in order to address the issue of energy access.
[MISSION]
Maximizing social impact by creating and disseminating knowledge
ENEA Consulting’s projects selection is consistent with its strategy and skills
ENEA Consulting selects projects requiring its expertise on energy issues. By providing strategy as well as technical expertise, ENEA Consulting leverages its know-how and optimizes the efficiency of its skills transfer to civil society organizations. The projects performed through this volunteering activity are a unique way to further develop a network, to increase knowledge and to rely on innovative ideas. This thus creates a unique added value to its consulting customers.Leverage optimisation and sustainability focus
ENEA Consulting decided to assist clean energy access projects, with the aim to contribute to the poverty and climate change impacts reduction. We are strongly convinced that our effort must be focused on sustainable projects, with a significant positive social impact. ENEA Consulting provides consulting and support on energy access projects but does not intend to be a substitute for local actors, civil society organizations or donors. ENEA Consulting does not participate in projects that are already funded by major organisations, nor that can be performed by local companies.Promoting multi-stakeholder projects and open diffusion
ENEA Consulting produces “Open Ideas” studies dealing with development issues, useful to all actors on the field. Generally speaking, ENEA Consulting tries to gather actors that are following the same development goal in order to enlarge its impact. ENEA Consulting has adopted a policy of free dissemination of its deliverables under Creative Commons license, in order to bring knowledge and know-how to those that are fighting energy access discrimination.
